Pokémon – Thievul – Pitch Black ME05 – 054/084 – Base Common – Near Mint is a Dark‑type non‑foil base card from the Mega Evolution Era Pitch Black expansion. Thievul’s sleek shadow‑runner pose, neon‑charged eye glow and corrupted‑energy shading define the ME05 aesthetic even without foil treatment. Base cards from Pitch Black maintain the same dramatic art direction as their reverse‑foil counterparts, making Thievul a key binder piece for collectors completing full ME05 base sets. Its clean print clarity, sharp outlines and consistent color saturation make it one of the strongest‑looking Dark‑type commons in the entire expansion.
The Mega Evolution Era’s neon‑lit shading and corrupted‑energy undertones translate perfectly into base cards, and Thievul is a standout example. The dark palette contrasts sharply with the glowing accents, giving the card a sense of stealth, motion and thematic intensity. Many collectors pair Thievul with Nickit, Ceruledge and Marshadow to build unified Dark‑type binder pages. Its crisp print quality and clean edges make it a reliable binder‑grade choice for long‑term ME05 completion.
