Seller Fees and Payments Policy
At Turnagain Collectibles, we believe in fair, transparent, and straightforward policies for all our sellers. Here’s everything you need to know about our fees and how you’ll get paid.
Seller Fees
- Registration:
All sellers must register and maintain an active payment method on file before listing items for sale. - Selling Fees:
A standard selling fee applies to each completed transaction. This fee is clearly displayed during the listing process and is automatically deducted from your proceeds when your item sells. - Additional Fees:
- Supplemental fees may apply for international shipping, high-value items, or special services.
- All applicable GST/HST is charged and remitted to CRA in accordance with Canadian law.
Payments
- Payment Schedule:
Seller proceeds are released once the buyer confirms receipt of the item and any applicable return or dispute window has closed. Payment processing times may vary depending on your selected payout method. - Payment Methods:
Sellers must keep a valid payment method on file to receive payouts and to cover any seller fees due. - Payment Holds:
To protect both buyers and sellers, Turnagain Collectibles may place a temporary hold on seller funds in certain cases, such as high-value transactions, new seller accounts, or when a dispute is raised.
Disputes and Payment Caps
- Dispute Resolution:
Payment disputes are capped at $200 CAD or the total fees paid in the last 12 months, whichever is greater. All disputes are handled through formal arbitration in Red Deer, Alberta.
Policy Updates
- Notice of Changes:
Any changes to our Seller Fees and Payments Policy will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.

1. Introduction
The fees for listing and selling are:
- A fee of 8% of the selling amount of the product listed, excluding shipping and sales taxes for product selling for under $7,500 per item.
- The fee for products selling for more than $7,500 per item is 5% of the selling amount, excluding shipping and sales taxes.
- Where the purchaser’s method of payment is credit card, an additional fee of 2.9% of the transaction amount, including the amount of sale, shipping, all services, and taxes is charged to cover most of the processer fees. Where the purchaser’s method of payment is bank etransfer, a fee of 1% of the transaction amount of sale including shipping, services, and taxes is charged.
- The sales taxes on the sale are not a fee, however they are remitted on the behalf of sellers to the Canada Revenue Agency, unless exempt by qualifying export.
- Shipping, tracking and insurance costs are subject to sales tax, but not the fee for seller services.
- In the event of currency charges, these will be deducted from the sellers sales proceeds.
- In the event of other costs, they may be charged to sellers, such as the cost of products which are counterfeit, fake, fraudulent or stolen property.
- A dispute resolution fee of $20.00 will be charged for each dispute, but this fee may be waived in the event of a no basis challenge. We are not in the business of enabling buyers who lack integrity.
2. Payment of selling price and related items
a. The sales amount will be remitted on clearance of the sale by the processing agent or bank, plus two, days or in the subsequent week to clearance of payment received in the case of new sellers.
b. The funds remitted will be net of taxes withheld and remitted for sales taxes for the site.c. The funds remitted will be net of the fees and cost above or in the User Agreement.
