Sales
Sales are segregated into two categories, regular sales and final sales. The first group is eligible
for the Limited Refund and Return policies. The second group is not eligible for refund or return
as the conditions apply. Liquidation and liquidation auction items are NOT eligible for refund as
they constitute sale items. Regular listed product may be eligible for return and refunds as
specified in those policies below.
Payment for purchases is to be complete with 24 hours. In the event that there is a challenge, it
is the buyers responsibility to communicate immediately on the nature of the delay. Failure to
pay results in cancellation of the sale at the end of the 24 hour period, unless communication
from the buyer is provided and confirmed by Turnagain. Similarly, failure of clearance of the
payment made within 2 working days will also lead to cancellation. We will endeavour to
communicate this in advance of the challenge. We will not ship until payment has been
confirmed received and cleared financial processing.
Products are sold with confidence that you are receiving the correct item as shown on the
website, if there is any question, the basis of sale is immediate and initial communication with
the company to ensure integrity and any disclosure or other communication prior to the process
or expiry of three weeks from the date of challenge is a voluntary deregistration and voiding of
the Return and refund provisions (including the applicable shipping provisions). The location of
the sale is in the Province of Alberta and ownership changes on the transfer of your product to
the delivery agent (postal or express party). The sales tax is charged at that point on the basis of
your ownership and responsibility for any further sales tax is the buyers responsibility, without
recourse to the vender.
ERRORS, INACCURACIES
Information on our site or in the Service may occasionally contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or
omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges,
transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to
change or update information or cancel orders, if any information in the Service or on the website listings
is incorrect. This is raised not to reprice items. If applied, it will be with a credit provision at the
discretion of management. The challenge of this is related to any small business that has limited checking
capacity in processing items for sale. The process for resolution is in two parts, with the second part being
commercial arbitration in the province of Alberta that is agreed to on registration in the user agreement.
Shipping
The Basic shipping protection on sport and collectible cards varies by shipping providers and this
notes how we package and protect your items. The vender’s team you deal with are real people
working in the limited margin traders environment, and not in the larger markup retail sector.
This means there are two standards of shipping with options, but the return policy below is firm
as the collectibles markets are volatile and in value and nature. If you are not confident in these
policies and our people, do not buy or deal with us. Please deal with those who provide what
you are looking for in that respect as it is not our business.
We are Canadians serving under the terms listed and not some other level of warrantee,
guarantee or service level that exceeds the shippers’ performance. The two standards are card or
collectible value based. We do not insure, warrantee or guarantee your shippers timing,
particularly when delivery is by Canada Post, which no longer prioritizes first class mail ahead of
other mailings. The service level is not at this time comparable to US Postal service
performance. Additionally the insurance on your cards by Canada Post has a limit which is
modest and hence is not useful for orders over $500. We caution that all cross-border delivery is
subject to customs and other delays.
We have a minimum order dollar value to ensure value to you and to ensure we continue to
process orders. This value is posted on the website and the order process should confirm this in
the event an order is below the limit. This is to avoid small orders which cannot economically be
processed and shipped and is not a revenue focussed but a balance with industry norms.
1. Standard Shipping Product under $100 CDN (US$ approx. $75)
2. Standard Shipping for orders under $100 CDN is by regular first class mail and without
insurance or tracking and at the risk to the buyer. Alternative to the Standard shipping is
at the discretion of the buyer including three levels of shipping that are expedited, with
tracking and with insurance. The packaging process is the same for cards over this
amount noted below.
3. Standard Shipping Product over $100 CDN (US approx. $75)
The standard packing process we use for product over Value of $100 – Cards are put into
proper size sleeves and top loaders for standard protection. Top loaders are sealed closed
to stop possible damage to card. Top loaders are placed in between 2 protective pieces of
material to keep safe from damage, they are taped together with the product in between
for maximum safety. The package is placed into properly addressed bubble mailer and
sealed with a tamper mark on the flap. Pictures of addressed mailers will be emailed to
buyer for confirmation of address as well as proof of proper packaging. Once the address
is confirmed, packages will be mailed out no later then the following day.
Cards over $100 value will include extra protection to maintain maximum safety. Will
also include tracking as well as insurance being a shipping condition for buyers’ piece of
mind. The alternative to Standard shipping by first class mail is at the discretion of the
buyer, including tracking and insurance.
The fee for standard shipping in Canada is $4.00 and for expedited delivery is $20.00
plus the cost of insurance and tracking at actual cost if added. The cost of standard
shipping to the USA is $6.00(approx. US$4.50) and the cost of expedited shipping to the
USA is CDN $27.00 (approx. US$20.00) plus tracking and insurance if added.
4. Minimum Order Value
The sale of single cards by mail or expedited delivery is economical when the minimum
sale volume is met, this is set at this time at $10.00 CDN.
5. Delivery Methods
When you purchase goods from our Site, the goods will be delivered through one of the
following methods:
Standard delivery, as noted above.
Expedited delivery
We ship using Canada Post, Fedex, and may use UPS, Purolator and CanPar.
Delivery will take place as soon as reasonably possible, depending on the delivery method
selected. Delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Please note that delivery
times do not include weekends and statutory holidays, especially when postal services are
selected and for cross border deliver normally have a delay of several days to clear customs/
border security.
You will be required to pay delivery charges in addition to the price for the goods you purchase,
such as duty if applicable. Depending on special circumstances based on our discretion. We
reserve the right to limit the number of items in an order that is being shipped. If the cost of the
shipping exceeds what you paid for shipping, we may cancel your order or ask you to pay an
additional fee to cover the extra shipping costs. The minimum order value will normally limit
the risk of this occurrence.
You are required to provide us with a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name
of the recipient. We are not liable for the delivery of your goods to the wrong address or wrong
person as a result of you providing us with inaccurate or incomplete information or for delivery
by shipper failure or theft of product. Insurance is recommended for high value items and
alternative product for lower dollar products. If the billing address and shipping address do not
match, we will cancel the order and refund the total amount back to you.
Refunds
Given the nature of collectibles and value changes the refund circumstances are limited to avoid
conflict cases. We are not responsible for lost mail or damaged mail, and will only assist if
insurance was purchased along with shipping. If insurance was purchased and cards shows up
damaged, we can accommodate alternative replacement but not identical product replacement. If
insurance WAS NOT PURCHASED, no matter dollar value, we will not be responsible for
reimbursement. Items of low dollar value, $2, $5, $10, $20, $40 may be replaced with like
product depending on the selected and will be provided in the event we ship the incorrect
product. We will refund in any case of counterfeit product that we can identify was our product.
Refunds do not apply to Opened products or to graded products where the seal or casing is
tampered or damaged.
Returns
In the event of a damaged, incorrect or counterfeit product, please contact us within 72 hours of
receipt with the particulars to assess resolution. Returns can be made by mail on confirmation in
advance by us to you if your return is a qualifying product. To return a good by mail, follow the
following procedure:
Pack your goods and include the return label that was sent to you.
Go to your nearest post office and pay the necessary postage and then email a copy of the
postal receipt and product picture to us.
This enables us to be aware of any mail delays and anticipate your concerns.
