Description

O-Pee-Chee Platinum John Gibson Retro Parallel Card #R-7
The O-Pee-Chee Platinum John Gibson Retro Parallel Card #R-7 is an official veteran parallel card for Anaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson. Released in the premium O-Pee-Chee Platinum checklist series, the Retro Parallel profile utilizes a distinct heavy opti-chrome card stock styled with a classic vintage card layout pattern that updates traditional designs with a modern rainbow chrome refractor shine. This card captures Gibson during a prominent career season and is vital for collectors pursuing full runs, team sets, or master player parallel collections.
This card is an essential component for completing the specialized O-Pee-Chee Platinum Retro Parallel subset checklist. Because raw copies are frequently evaluated for physical grading or custom collection layouts, crucial physical traits like chrome print line centering, clean corners, smooth unchipped edges, and a mirror-like surface clarity free from dimples or micro-scratching are key performance points for hobbyists.
