Turnagain Collectibles Layaway Plan Policy

How to Set Up a Layaway:

  • Layaway is available by request—email [email protected] to set up a plan for eligible items.

Delivery is on completion of payments, however product is packaged and segregated for delivery on first payment.

  • Layaway is not available at checkout; all arrangements must be made by email.

Terms & Payment Schedule

  • 10% Fee which is interest like is applied to the item price.
  • Items $1,200 or less including fees, taxes and delivery costs:
    • 4 payments over a maximum of 4 months.
  • Items over $1,200:
    • 6 payments over a maximum of 6 months.

Special Order Layaway

  • If you find items elsewhere that we don’t have in stock, we can order them in for you on a layaway plan—just email your request.
  • Once the agreed-upon price is set for a special order, the sale is final—no cancellations, refunds, or backing out are allowed.

Restocking Fee & Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel after making 2 or more payments:
    • For payment plans we keep two full payments as a restocking fee.
  • If you cancel before 2 payments:
    • Only the payments made are retained (no refund).
  • Missed Payments:
    • Missing two consecutive payments may result in cancellation and the cancelation/restocking fee applies.
  • Serious Inquiries Only:
    • Layaway is for committed buyers—please don’t waste our time if you’re not planning to complete your purchase.
  • Special Orders:
    • No cancellations, refunds, or backing out are allowed once a price is agreed upon for a special order item.

Identity Verification & Buyer Security

To protect both buyer and seller and ensure all contracts are valid, we offer flexible, privacy-friendly options for identity verification:

  • Video Call Verification:
    Meet us on a secure video call (Zoom, Google Meet, FaceTime, etc.) to show your government-issued photo ID—no need to send a copy, just a visual check.
  • In-Person Verification:
    Local buyers can show ID when picking up their item or making a payment in person.
  • Payment Method Verification:
    Only accept payments from accounts matching the name on the contract.
  • References or Social Media:
    If you’re a repeat customer or referred, or if you reach out via social media, we may use that as basic verification.

Contract Clause:
“The Buyer may verify their identity by secure video call, in-person meeting, or through payment/account verification or reference instead of emailing ID. The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel the layaway agreement if identity cannot be reasonably verified.”

Important Notes

  • Layaway is available only for select items or special orders—ask before purchasing.
  • All payments must be completed within the specified term (3 months for items ≤ $1,200, 2 months for items > $1,200).
  • Items ship only after layaway is paid in full.
  • Interest and restocking fees are non-refundable.
